We can't move without fuel
Our assistance to the people of Ukraine is based on logistics and the distribution of humanitarian aid. So without fuel, we are like without a hand. While we are able to cover the humanitarian material with donations from large companies, hospitals and individuals, we pay for the fuel ourselves. It is our main expense.
A loaded truck will bring 20 – 22 tonnes of cargo to Ukraine with a value of between 500,000 – 1,000,000 CZK. Looking at the damage done by the Russian Federation, it may seem that this is just a drop in the ocean. But for us, and certainly for you too, even this drop is meaningful. After all, with your help, we managed to ship over 1,000 tons of humanitarian material to Ukraine last year!
What exactly will the money be used for?
The funds from this collection will be used for fuel for the transportation and distribution of humanitarian material in Ukraine and for the operation of our vehicles.
The journey of a truck loaded with humanitarian aid costs us approximately 50 000 CZK
The operating costs of our vehicles also include regular maintenance, servicing and insurance. With few exceptions, our cars are not state-of-the-art technological marvels. But their service is all the cheaper. However, given the condition of Ukrainian roads near the front, repairs are necessary very often. Servicing our vans costs us approximately CZK 7,400 – 9,200 per month.
